SHIPPING & RETURN INFORMATION

Thank you for shopping at Gord’s Running Store! We ship within Canada only. Free in-store or curbside pick-up is available at 919 Centre Street NW, Calgary. Free delivery is available within Calgary.

Our Shipping Process

  • Shipping is free in Canada on orders over $100, before tax. Free in-store and curbside pick-up is available.  If curbside pick-up is selected, please wait until you receive a phone call or email from us informing you your order is ready to be picked up.
  • Online orders will ship within 2 business days (excluding holidays) for in-stock items. Unless otherwise specified, we ship using expedited Canada Post. Orders generally take 3-5 business days to ship, longer in more rural or remote areas. If it is a special order item, please see special orders under the FAQs section for approximate delivery times.
  • We will notify you via email when the order is shipped, and provide you with a tracking number.
  • If you refuse a shipment from Gord’s Running Store, you are responsible for the original shipping costs. The amount will be deducted from your merchandise refund.
  • All shipping fees are non-refundable.
  • Sales taxes will be applied to online orders during the checkout process to Canadian customers living outside of Alberta, based on the province/territory to which the items are being shipped. In-store purchases are subject to Alberta jurisdiction taxes only.

Our Return Process

  • We accept returns or exchanges in-store within 30 days of purchase. The ‘return by’ date is on the bottom of your receipt. In-store returns MUST be accompanied with the receipt, or provide the phone number under which the purchase was made, so we can verify the purchase on our sales system.
  • For returns being shipped back to the store, the postage date must be within 30 days of merchandise purchase date. Please include the original receipt in the return package. When returning via post, you are responsible for shipping costs. COD deliveries will not be accepted. Consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance for orders over $100. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
  • To be eligible for a return, your item must in re-sellable condition.  For shoes, slight or superficial soiling of the sole is acceptable, but scuffing on the mid-sole is NOT acceptable, and any signs of dirt or wear and tear on the upper are NOT acceptable. Please return the item in the original packaging. For apparel returns, tags must still be attached to the garment.
  • No returns on sale items. Under exceptional circumstances (depending on availability) we may be able to offer an exchange for a different size, or exchange for store credit, but this is at Gord’s discretion and will be determined on a case by case basis.
  • INELIGIBLE for return:  body care products, electronics, gift cards, headphones, magazines, nutrition products, and sunglasses.
  • Do not return your purchase to the manufacturer.
  • Returned items will be inspected upon receipt at the store.  You will be notified by email that we have received the returned item. We will notify you of approval or rejection of the return.  If approved, your refund will be processed to the original method of payment. Shipping costs on the original purchase are not refunded. Refunds may take 5-8 business days to appear in your account.

  • Gord’s Running Store reserves the right to reject a return, or choose the amount to be refunded.

Warranty Returns

  • If you feel a purchase failed due to a defect, and it was purchased within the previous 180 days (6 months) we may be able to facilitate a warranty return via the supplier. This decision is at the discretion of the supplier. Please notify us as soon as the defect or warranty issue starts to become apparent. Please do not wait for 5 months as it is much harder to determine defect versus wear and tear if you wait too long. Normal wear and tear are not covered by warranty return.
  • Warranty returns must be returned to the store.  Shipping costs are the responsibility of the purchaser. Proof of purchase (original receipt or phone number under which we can confirm the purchase on our sales system) is required.
  • We will notify you via email when we receive your returned item. We will notify you of the approval or rejection of your warranty claim after the item is inspected by the supplier. The process may take up to 2 weeks after we receive the returned item.
